During Thanksgiving of 2022, I coordinated a cooking safety media event with our partners at the Metro West Fire Protection District. The partnership enticed reporters by offering them both tips on how to avoid cooking fires and how to avoid plumbing disasters from fats, oils, and grease. Through the partnership, I secured multiple live hits from all three local news stations.
